Site updates

For club members: I’ve updated one of our internal groups with a summary of recent changes to the website. Please come on board and tell me what you think.

Home – Site Design – Mallow Tri Club

If you’ve never tried to access the groups before you’ll need to login. The easiest way to do this, IMO, is with the google login. If you have a Google a/c with any email address, this simply verifies that you are the owner of the email address and lets you in. Otherwise you can use the Register link to add your email and password.

Once you’ve done this you will see our public group.

Now you’ll need to wait until I see your membership request and check you’re actually in the club. Feel free to DM me as a reminder that you’ve joined. @anthonypatterson – When I’ve upgraded your membership you should see the full groups directory and any other members functionality I’ve added so far.

Be sure to have a good look around and drop a few comments. I hope you can find something in there that can help you on your triathlon journey.

Name the Event…

Along a winding, endless ring,
Where rugged paths rise sharp and steep,
The swim held back by winds that sting,
Yet spirits move with steady beat.

Though water’s call was silenced deep,
The course stood full, a tough embrace,
With every mile on roads and trails,
Strong hearts pursued the grueling race.

The cheering crowds, a warming sound,
Through hardships met and battles scarred,
Their voices fueled each steady step—
Then well-earned drinks to raise and cheer.
